Jo Ann Woodward R.N.C., N.P., practiced in Marina Women's Medical Group and Health Care Partners, and is a consultant faculty member in the nurse practitioner training programs at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Prior to her current positions, Jo Ann has worked at Women's Health Initiative at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner. In addition, she has worked at Planned Parenthood as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner, the H. Claude Hudson Comprehensive Health Center and the South Bay Free Clinic in the Beach Cities, among many more.

Jo Ann has been on the Board of Directors of the Beach Cities Health District. She is a member of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals and a volunteer for the March of Dimes, Campaign

  for Healthier Babies. Previously, Jo Ann has served as a board member for Education Programs Associates, South Bay Center for Counseling, National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Reproductive Health, Women in Health, Los Angeles Regional Family Planning Council, Inc. and South Bay Free Clinic.

Much recognized as an authority on women's health issues, Jo Ann has been invited to give numerous presentations by local, regional and national health, state and educational organizations. She is much published in professional and medical journals and has been awarded the Special Recognition Alumni Award, Women's health Care Nurse Practitioner Training Program at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center as well as the Women of Distinction Award in Health, among others.
